I have been trying to analyse this poem, to see the clues. etc. Some of what is written here is also extracted from a convo with a good mate who plays this. I wont mention his name as he might not want that.
Mistrust and hate now reigns in Melvin's land.
A wound so grave and hard to understand
That all of us must painfully endure
This rot - until the brave can find a cure
Well, from what we understand, Melvin was one of the first. Mayor in every city, helped shape the world that we know now. For whatever reason, he is not here now, but the world we know is crafted from him.
So obviously, we are talking about Popomundo as we know it Today.
Mistrust: there is a lot of arguing and questioning of the devs and where this game is going, lots of problems. Behavioural, Financial, etc.
Rot: is that linked to the Zombies? Zombies are rotten bodies brought back to life, but I don’t think you can sure a zombie. Just chop off their head.
The strife and bickering of our past
Produced a horror terrible and vast
And thus one day, the time-space fell apart
A rift emerged, from old world new depart
For all we know, the devs could be arguing in the background about aspects of the game. They could be split in what way to take this forward. Until an agreement was made but its going to be quite drastic, so now this world that we know today, will be gone.
But woe! The world we found to spend our lives
unstable is and trembles as mankind arrives
Foul deeds now threaten to produce a rift
Once more and this time fatal, not a gift
Things may be happening which are illegal (foul deeds), such as the financial system and all the fraud, such as taking out loans and dying. There are also server problems which could be making the place unstable.. such as all these orphans and dead people (all accounts on the database) and maybe getting rid of them would open up so much process that things would be smoother, stable, room to expand, etc. Bare in mind, “mankind arrives” the sudden influx in players, 40k to 200k in about 3 months if I remember right.
As omens rise with woe in west and east
A winged and foul most fearsome feathered beast
Will seize and capture hearts and lands once green
Of all who doubt the triumph of our Queen
I think its global that Kobe is seen as the Divine Mother, as a Queen. And clearly, from above there is going to be a split in the world, a hole from which a great evil will appear. Winged and Feathered Beast? Dragons? - not feathered. Phoenix? - not really a beast. Google “winged and feathered beast” and it returns reference to great flying dinosaurs in the evolution of birds. But I don’t think this is popo related.

哈哈,找到一些别人对poem的解析
看了以后还是理解了不少
