A marriage will allow you to write messages to your partner, to see his/her state of health and his/her capabilities. Another advantage is that, if you are married, some administrative expenses that could turn up during quests are reduced. The only disadvantage (if you can call it that) is that you will have to prove your love towards your partner by sometimes offering him or her gifts.
If your « The love» falls below 50 % overnight, your couple will divorce.
Gay marriages are accepted, as are marriages between members of different clans.
You are not permitted to have more than one partner… Celtic harems are not allowed ;)
