I just learned that the well known, long time Might and Magic fan Flamestryke, who has created absolutely great and colorful walkthroughs for MM7-MM9 at www.flamestryke.com, has recently passed away. This is what writes Peter2 at Castle Gobs forums:

It is with a heavy heart that I must tell you that Flamestryke, constructor of some of the best web-sites about MM7-9, passed away in April. She had been suffering from cancer for some time.

I never actually met Erika Walters (for that was her actual name), but she and I had been exchanging emails for some years. She had had far more than her fair share of ill-health and ill-luck, but she never allowed that to sour her against life, and in her emails to me she remained a gentle and great-hearted lady. I hope the next life will be kinder to her than this one was.

I drink to her memory.

Our deepest sympathies to Erika’s family for the terrible loss. Rest in peace, Flamestryke, you will be remembered.



今天才知道这个mm789和wiz8等资料很全的网站的主人Flamestryke（她之前得了癌症）已经过世了。真是可惜！

怪不得近一段时间不好上去。麻烦能下载网站的高人将之打包发到论坛ftp，吾不胜感激！也非常感谢已不在的Flamestryke！

There is, actually. We have Castle Mehgenac, where Lord Mehgenac (Caneghem)'s plans for Might and Magic games are on display. This is also where the Eternal Flame of Might and Magic can be found.

Flamestryke's Web could be a pentagram on the floor beneath the Eternal Flame of Might and Magic, elf picture in the center, where the party needs to activate her five web sites (MM7/8/9, Return to Krondor, Wizardry 8) in the correct order.


Has anyone made a copy of her webpages yet?


MMT即Might & Magic Tribute的首席设计Ribannah（MMT Project Lead、MMT Lead Game Designer）要在mmt里加入任务，在某个地板上有一个五角星，中间是一个精灵的画像，你的队伍需要按着MM7/8/9, Return to Krondor, Wizardry 8（Flamestryke的网站的5个子专题）的次序激活Eternal Flame of Might and Magic

上过网站的都见过的，我主要是稀罕wiz8和mm9和 Return to Krondor的资料。

好可惜。。。默哀下。。。T T

m兄在国内，上不了，但那位MMT的首席设计Ribannah应该不会在中国大陆吧。。
